Posted on 9/8/2017 by Paddle Ohio

The Ohio Department of Natural Resources is offering a Paddle Ohio event on the Muskingum River to promote paddling on Ohio’s state-designated wild, scenic and recreational rivers and water trails.

Muskingum River, Sunday, September 24 12:30-5pm

This 6-miler float will begin with check-in at 12pm. Participants should meet at the Stockport Lock and Dam parking lot located at the southeast intersection of the Muskingum River and the Broadway Street/Route 266 Bridge. To register, please contact Bob Gable at bob.gable@dnr.state.oh.us.

The Paddle Ohio initiative rewards individuals with a commemorative pin each time they paddle four different Ohio scenic rivers, water trails or designated state park lakes. Participants submit information about their paddling trips on the trip report form, and ODNR will mail the pin to qualifying individuals.
